Pharma giants in the US had a massive boost after Pfizer (PFE) avoided tariffs by coming to an agreement with Donald Trump to sell drugs directly to the American people at a lower price. Domestic competitors Eli Lilly (LLY) and Merck (MRK) are expected to follow suit, as Pfizer also announced $70 billion dollars worth of investment in the US.
